The tech must have Customer Search permissions in order to do this.  They must be set to a RemoteTechOnCall, RemoteTechManager or have this permission enabled in SuccessWare21.

Step 1: Click on the Customer Search button in the main menu

 Step 2: You must enter something into one of the fields in order to get to the spot where you can add a new customer.  Type anything into one of the fields and hit Search.

Step 3: The search results will be returned, and you will now have the ability to click the New button to create a new customer.

Step 4: Fill out the customer information and click Save.
